One of the attractive features of life in Worcester County is the relative harmony among those who calls themselves Republicans and Democrats. There is competition, of course, at election time every four years, usually friendly with a dose of good-natured banter. The register of wills, who happens to be a Democrat, shows up at Republican party events and is as welcome there as she would be at any gathering of her own party members.
